I think I prefer her as a teen. Little less 'creepy little girl'.

Yes, you are so right! The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer is much less creepy than, say, Curly Top. Child actors/actresses tend to scare me a wee bit, though Shirley was a cute kid.
