I'm a big fan of Bradford Dillman and find himvery watchable. My fave villain of his is in The Man From UNCLE 'movie' THE HELICOPTER SPIES, he's amusingly slimy in that. He's bonkers in BUG. He even got to menace Roger Moore in the action drama GOLD, which I appreciated here... http://blackholereviews.blogspot.com/2009/10/gold-1974-gritty-action-with-roger.html
Dillman's best role has got to be in COMPULSION, acting opposite Dean Stockwell and, gulp, Orson Welles. Once again he's a villain, but a complex one...
Here's my blog reaction to the movie, my first time seeing it... http://blackholereviews.blogspot.com/2010/08/compulsion-1959-re-enacting-story-of.html
