RIP Leslie Nielsen

Okay, so technically his movies are comedy 'classics' as opposed to all-round classics, but I'm going to write this post anyway, because Leslie Nielsen WAS AN AMAZINGLY TALENTED AND HILARIOUS PERSON!

The world became a little less funny today-rest in peace, Leslie Nielsen.

PS-I'M SORRY! (Raquelle knows what I'm talking about!)

PPS-How many anniversaries is that on this day now? Cary Grant, Natalie Wood, Leslie Nielsen...sheesh!

It's okay. I still think you are awesome. That's a great picture of him. He looks almost silver!

I saw that it was Cary Grant's death-iversary. :-(

Phew! I did mean it a nice way-my brother and I quote it CONSTANTLY! Haha!

He does look really well in that photo-very classic film star-y. Yeah. Star-y.

It's a depressing day in the world of film. :'-(

Leslie Nielsen has been known to me mostly as a bad guy in various TV programs, The Swamp Fox in Disneyland, and more recently, Mr. Wonderful in Tammy and the Bachelor! Twas the first role I really liked him in -- and now, less than two weeks later, he's gone. Sad, just sad.

You HAVE to watch Airplane! It's HILARIOUS!

And I always get an obsession with a celebrity about a week before they die-it happened only recently with Tony Curtis. I have a deadly touch!

Well, aside from his comedies (which are new classics, I suppose),Mr. Nielsen did appear in some classics. Forbidden Planet is one of the top five greatest sci-fi films of all time and I consider Tammy and the Bachelor a classic! He was definitely talented and one of my favourite actors of all time.

Hmm...Forbidden Planet...why does that sound so familiar to me? I think I may have actually seen that!

And of course Tammy and the Bachelor is a classic! Please forgive me-I had a younger cousin rattling in my ear while I was trying to write this post!

He was brilliant-WHY IS THE WORLD LOSING SO MUCH TALENT THIS YEAR?!

He was a great actor & very funny. It's so sad that he died. Thanks for your comment on my blog. Sorry to hear Audrey Hepburn died on your birthday years back. My birthday is December 20th & last year Brittany Murphy died exactly the day of my birthday.

Thanks for your comment. He was wonderful-so underrated, just because he was a comedy actor!

OH NO! BOBBY DARIN DIED ON THAT DAY! :'-(
