The Deep And Wonderful World Of The Irish Accent...

Okay, so there are a couple of people to blame for this new series, and I ain't one of them. I'm looking at you, Millie and Fern! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!

Basically, I'm going to give whoever is reading a little taster of the numerous Irish accents.

But I must warn you, this may take a while...there are only 32 counties but a LOT of accents. I might just focus on the coolest ones. Depends on how I feel.

So, prepare yourself, lovely reader, for me cringing/swooning over many an accent! I think this could be fun.

I'm allowed to be stereotypical-I am Irish!

I must say, I'm failing a bit! I did a recording of myself for one of the accents, and can't get it onto Gidget (my laptop)! Oops! :-/

HAHA! You really are calling your laptop Gidget!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SERIES. It's seriously a brilliant and necessary idea that I've been waiting for in eager anticipation ever since I first heard vague rumours of it's coming.

I sincerely love your enthusiasm. I will try to live up to your expectations. ;-P

GIDGET IS THE GREATEST NAME FOR A LAPTOP EVER.

(Although, I am partial to my laptop Oscar [named for Oscar Levant]! ;-D)

It was almost being called Philip Marlowe. Then I realised it was pink and mightn't suit it. ;-P
